How to Play With A Cage Ball

How to... ยป How to play with a cage ball:

Sure it's been a while, but there is a good chance at some point in your life you have used a cage ball. Ever been to summer camp? A church picnic? A youth group outing as a kid? You get the idea. If you're from north of the border, Omnikin (also called "Kin-ball") uses a cage ball.

Typically, the cage ball is made up of two parts, the bladder (which is inflated) and the cover (typically colored nylon or canvas). The bladder is placed inside the cover and then inflated. The ball should be blown up to a level where there is a little "give" in the ball. When inflated, cage balls measure 18" to 72" inches in diameter.

A cage ball is perfect for team building games. You can use these balls for the standard "Cage Ball soccer" game where teams use the cage ball to try to score a goal. The problem is the cage ball is simply too big for a single player to move so the team must work together to "dribble" the ball down the field.

The cage balls can also be used for cage ball volleyball (we don't recommend the 72" ball as it will be too heavy), crab soccer, or push ball (think tug of war, but with a ball).

If you are looking to buy a cage ball much larger than 36" in diameter, we highly recommend investing in an electric pump as well for inflation purposes.
